The Platinan block in the Central Area, right next to the new Hisingsbron bridge, is Vasakronan’s contribution to the new central area and the first building block for the new Älvstaden. Platinan will be a unique building, not only in terms of construction, where the block is built in two stages, but also in terms of function, the block will include 60,000 sqm of offices, hotels and culture.
PEAB has been procured as a turnkey contractor in collaboration and the construction work began in 2017. Sustainability is a keyword for the building, where Vasakronan is investing in the market’s smartest energy solutions with the aim of environmentally certifying the building according to LEED Platinum.
