Hotel Riverton
consists of a series of different buildings within Vallgraven 46:18 in a vibrant inner city neighborhood just off Stora Badhusgatan and Skeppsbron.
Having owned the property since 1998, and with minor, successive changes adapted and developed the property, the owners, Lotta & Magnus Hedlund, have now decided that the time has come to develop Hotel Riverton and the properties.
With the major changes now planned for the Skeppsbro area, the company wants to take the opportunity to take another step in this development. The developed area will give the hotel additional appeal.
Renovations and extensions to the property will bring the hotel into the 2020s, increase turnover in the hotel, conference and restaurant areas, and raise quality levels in all these activities. Changed, refined and newly built parts of the hotel should be characterized by long-term and lasting qualities.
The project will be carried out in partnership between Hotel Riverton AB and the construction company Vestia Construction Group AB. Operations will continue as usual during the refurbishment as the current 186 hotel rooms were recently renovated. The project will take place in phases starting in 2018, focusing on public areas such as the lobby and reception, as well as expanding the current restaurant, View Skybar & Restaurant, through an extension.
