A new meeting place for Alingsås is emerging at Lake Gerdsken, Sjöstaden. It will create an attractive meeting place for everyone and a beautiful residential area of around 100 apartments. The area is close to nature, exercise and outdoor life as well as to shopping centers and commerce. The new homes connect directly to the existing Vimpeln shopping center.
The promenade in front of the houses will be developed with newly constructed pedestrian and cycle paths, piers, seating areas and park plantings. In addition, residents will have access to a roof garden on the roof of the shopping center.
Construction is expected to start in spring 2017, with Protek’s role in the project being design management and project and construction management.
